Adrien L. Charles-Marcel, DDS, MD

Adrien Charles-Marcel, DDS, MD is a fellowship trained cleft and craniofacial surgeon.  Born in California to Caribbean parents, he was raised across the United States and spent a decade in Mexico, where he became fluent in Spanish.  He completed pre-dental studies at Southern Adventist University in Tennessee before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University in California.  He then completed an internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, followed by a six-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Loma Linda University, during which time he also obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree.  His residency included training in anesthesia, general surgery, facial trauma, maxillofacial pathology, wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, and corrective jaw surgery

Prior to joining the practice in September of 2026, he completed a fellowship in cleft and craniofacial surgery, including an emphasis on endoscopic-assisted treatment of craniosynostosis, at El Paso Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Charles-Marcel is committed to compassionate whole-person care, striving not only to address each patient’s surgical needs but also to understand their story and care for them as an individual.  Additionally, he finds deep meaning in serving through local free clinics and international mission trips to help underserved communities.

Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Janessa, a Midwest native, and their little daughter, as well as cooking, traveling, video editing, and staying active in his local church. He and his family are excited to be in Michigan to serve their new community.
